Is it love, or a balance problem? If you feel dizzy when standing or walking, you may have a balance issue. It may be caused by inner ear problems, aka vestibular disorders so you may be a candidate for balance therapy. Such therapy might also be beneficial if you suffer from benign paroxysmal positional vertigo (BPPV).

If you experience the whirling sensation of vertigo, blurred vision, motion sensitivity, or neck stiffness, if you’re attempting less because of poor balance, or if you have fallen recently, you might benefit from balance therapy.

Balance therapy is an exercise-based program, tailored to your specific needs. You’ll learn new habits to improve your stability and be sure on your feet.

Falls are the leading cause of injuries –fatal and nonfatal, for seniors 65 and older. Every year one in every three seniors falls. Why risk it? Ask your doctor if you need balance therapy.
